Germany calls for global death penalty ban
There are still 55 countries around the world that impose the death penalty, including China, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Germany and other countries are campaigning for its abolition. Representatives from 125 countries gather in Berlin in order to advance the universal abolition of capital punishment.
